40 Rovers is Amsterdam based Joppe Rovers, who finished the Willem de Kooning Academy of Arts in Rotterdam in 2003, graduating in illustration. Later picks interest in other disciplines besides illustration and focusses on graphic design and photography. Worked as freelancer and also for several design companies in Holland and Uganda (Categorie 1, Studio Ron van Roon, FCB Limelight, Butterfly Works). Spent some months in Chongqing, China, working as a design teacher. Currently working as freelance illustrator and designer and as graphic designer for Butterfly Works.
